“That self-connection shared is a measure of the joy which I know myself to be capable of feeling, a reminder of my capacity for feeling.

And that deep and irreplaceable knowledge of my capacity for joy comes to demand from all of my life that it be lived within the knowledge that such satisfaction is possible…”

— Audre Lorde, Uses of the Erotic

about Yaerin Kweon (she/they)

Rin is a high-achieving multi-passionate creative emerging from the liminal space between the Korean peninsula and the US imperial empire.

They are an ex-scientist, ex-addict, and survivor of sexual assault and multiple suicide attempts.

Having been blessed with a high degree of intensity and generational weight from their Korean ancestors who faced imperial violence, they find great meaning in transmuting the pain of the human experience into creative expression.

Similarly, they access deep empowerment by surrendering to the cyclical processes of shedding skin, giving death, and rebirthing anew.

Their creative work is deeply rooted in the practice of non-attachment and de-identification, exploring themes such as: integration of the shadow, queer femininity, Korean cultural identity, connection to the Earth and Divine Life, and the nondual spiritual tradition.

They work in mediums encompassing painting, drawing, design, animation, performance, movement, modeling, digital illustration, video, language, and more.

Rin graduated summa cum laude with a 3.99 GPA from the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) in 2022, double majoring in Biology with honors and Fine Arts.

Their scientific background comes from their time working and studying in a Neurosurgery and Bioengineering lab, as well as a Dermatology and Ophthalmology lab, both at Penn.

Why I Coach

Everything above is also where my coaching practice comes from.

I didn't arrive at nervous system regulation, shadow work, or manifestation as abstractions. I arrived there because I had to. The intensity that runs through my creative work is the same intensity I had to learn how to metabolize instead of letting it metabolize me. The science background isn't separate from the spiritual work either; it's exactly why I build the Creative Magnetism Method™ the way I do, grounded in how the nervous system actually creates safety, not just in affirmations about it.

I work with artists, creatives, and visionaries who are talented but overlooked — who know their work deserves to be seen, paid, and recognized, and who keep running into the same internal walls between where they are and that reality. Not because they lack skill or ideas, but because of internal fragmentation: the part that wants visibility fighting the part that believes being seen is unsafe, the part that wants the money fighting the part that still ties worth to struggle.

My own path through addiction, trauma, and psychiatric crisis taught me, in the most undeniable way possible, that you cannot out-strategize an internal war. You have to come into integration with yourself first. Everything else follows from that.

This is the work I now help other creatives do.
